I checked and I do not have the harness behind my HVAC panel. There is nothing in the dummy plug. Thank you.

Here are some photos of what I have. I have not bought head unit yet, since I want to make sure I can get the knob to work. My truck is non JBL. It would be great to have a pre made harness if possible, just to reduce any wire splicing.

I have a 2026 so they may have discontinued doing that.

In your research, have you seen or know the part number for the harness to the knob? I looked today and I do not have the harness into the dummy plug as mentioned in the video. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I guess I can try the 14 inch and see if I can add my profile without a VIN sync. I’d assume the dealer could reset if needed. Also, if I was to transfer my Sirius XM account, they may want the VIN which the radio would be installed on but not registered 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have read that you need to take the truck to a dealer to VIN match so you can transfer your account to the new radio, like you have it set up on the 8inch. Have you heard of this? Is this true? Have you done the 14 inch screen upgrade. Thank you.
