I’m starting to look into exhaust options for the 3rd Gen Tundra and wanted to hear what others are running.
I like a deeper tone — nothing super loud — just something to bring out the twin-turbo V6 sound a bit more. The stock setup is way too quiet. I’ve been looking at the TRD exhaust, Magnaflow, and Borla options, but I’m worried about drone on long drives.
Anyone running a system that gives a nice growl under throttle but stays mellow on the highway? How’s the install, and did it change MPG or performance at all?
Let’s hear some sound clips if you’ve got ’em! I’d love to get a thread going of tried-and-true systems that actually sound good on the Tundra’s new platform.
