Now that I’ve had some time behind the wheel of my 2022 Tundra, there are a few features I didn’t expect to use much — but they’ve turned out to be way more useful than I thought. Figured I’d share for anyone on the fence about these options:

1. The Camera Rearview Mirror
I didn’t even realize the Tundra had this option until I started playing with it. It’s been a game-changer, especially when I fold up my OEM bed cover. Flipping the mirror into camera mode lets me still see what’s going on in the bed and behind me. Way more functional than I expected.

2. OEM Bed Lights
Coming from my Tacoma (which didn’t have bed lights), I always thought I’d add them someday but never got around to it. Having them factory installed on the Tundra paired with the OEM bed cover has been a winning combo. Simple but super functional, especially at night or when loading gear.

3. 360° Cameras
I honestly didn’t think I’d use this feature much beyond off-roading, but I use it constantly. Duck hunting? Helps me cross tight water access roads. Parking garages or drive-thrus? Lets me know exactly where my rear wheel is and keeps the truck in line. For a truck this size, I’d say the 360 camera package is 1000000% worth it.
