Anyone Try the Digital Key Feature Yet?

If you’ve got a Limited, Platinum, or higher trim, you may have access to Toyota’s Digital Key feature. Supposedly, it lets you lock/unlock/start your Tundra using just your phone via the Toyota app.

Anyone actually using this? I set it up, and it works, but it’s a little finicky sometimes — especially in bad service areas. Also, it doesn’t work if the vehicle’s been parked a long time, which kinda defeats the purpose for remote starts.

Curious if anyone has found a way to make it smoother, or if it’s more of a party trick than a real daily-use feature.

Let’s hear the real-world experience from those trying to ditch their physical key fobs. I used it in my first 4th Gen Tacoma, and it worked nice until the trial period ended on Toyota's app...
