Did some engineering and saw a 3D print file I made some changes too. This mounts a 150w inverter in the dash of the truck and use the OEM 12v plug that is already there for power. Whats cool about this is I also added a ram mount and a mag safe charger for my phone. The USB ports on the inverter are live all the time when the truck is running but then you can turn on the 120v socket using the switch on the unit. This takes a someone wasted space for me and makes it more functional being able to charge more things in the front seat like my laptop and more.

Looking to install a dash cam, but curious what others have done to keep it clean and low-profile.

With the big camera/sensor module behind the mirror, space is limited. I’m thinking about mounting just below the mirror with a VIOFO or BlackVue and tapping into the fuse panel.

Anyone hardwired theirs yet? Which fuse did you use for ignition-on power? Any interference issues with safety sensors?
