Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick update on my 3rd Gen Tundra build – I recently picked up the Diode Dynamics Stealth Bumper Light Bar Kit in the amber version, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

For those not familiar with it, this kit is specifically designed for the 2022+ Tundra. It lets you mount an 18” light bar right into the factory lower bumper opening, which is awesome because it doesn’t require any cutting or major modifications. It gives the front end of the truck a super clean, integrated look – no weird gaps or tacked-on light bars here!

I’ve always been a fan of amber lighting for dusty and foggy trail runs, and that’s exactly why I went with the amber version of the Diode Dynamics Stage Series light bar. Amber cuts through the dust and low-visibility conditions so much better than white light, and it looks pretty slick too. The combo beam pattern is a great balance of width and distance, so it’ll help light up those sketchy trail sections at night while also filling in the ditches and periphery.

One thing I really appreciated about this kit was the build quality. Diode Dynamics didn’t cut any corners – the brackets are CAD-designed for a perfect fit with the Tundra’s bumper, and everything feels super solid. The included wiring harness was truly plug-and-play, which made install way easier than I expected. I did have to remove the front bumper to get it all mounted up, but once that was done, it all went in cleanly and securely.

On the road (and off!), the amber light bar is already proving to be a game changer. It’s super bright without being blinding, and I love the way it cuts through the haze at dawn and dusk. I’ve had a few buddies comment on how slick it looks, and I can’t deny it’s got that tough, purposeful vibe that just fits the Tundra perfectly.

Honestly, the whole project has me even more excited for future night runs and camping trips. I’ve got a few other lighting upgrades planned down the road, but this one definitely sets the bar high. Between the form factor, the output, and that signature amber glow, it’s been one of the best mods I’ve done so far.

Anyone else running amber lighting on their rig? I’d love to hear your experiences with visibility on the trails, and if there are any other amber-focused upgrades you’d recommend. Let’s see those setups – I’m always down for more ideas!
