Alright, I’ll admit it — I was wrong about the factory JBL system in the 2022+ Tundra.

When I first got the truck, I thought the JBL setup sounded muddy, flat, and honestly just kind of disappointing. But after messing with it more, I realized it wasn’t the system… it was my settings.
Once I actually spent some time dialing in the audio settings, turning on high-quality streaming in my music app, and making sure the volume on my phone was turned all the way up before adjusting the truck’s volume — the system came alive. The highs are cleaner, the mids opened up, and the bass feels a lot tighter than before.
Is it “audiophile-level”? No.
But is it way better than what I originally thought? Absolutely.

Curious if anyone else had the same experience — did you hate the JBL system at first and then realize it just needed proper tuning? Or did you jump straight to aftermarket upgrades?
Let me know what settings you’re running. I’m still fine-tuning mine.
