I HATE GLOSS BLACK TRIM
In my opinion gloss black trim should not be used in general. Is scratches easy and just starts to look so bad with age it dates the vehicle. One of my go to solutions to fix this is I order a set of protective covers from Screen Protect.
Here is my exact order:
2022-2026 14in Infotainment + Climate + 4wd Console
Anti-Glare Infotainment Film
Add Installation Insurance

Why You Need The Insurnace
I am a cheap person by heart but I am sure happy I ordered the insurance with this kit. The 4wd console has little parts that go around buttons and the climate control also is hard to work around. When they double your film they kind of triple and trust me it is worth it.I have done this install on a couple of my cars but so far this is the hardest one I have ever done. Before you waste your money buy the insurance on top of the kit.
Installation Process
CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!
Use their included cleaner and rag to clean the surface. I even went as far has have air to blow it off as well as a rag to drape over the part after I cleaned it.
From there spray water on both the part and then the film. Place the film over the part and start to work it onto place. Once it is center start to squeeze the water out and the film will start to tack up.
From there squeeze the rest of the water out and it will stick.
Work the bubbles out but it will take up to 3 days for some of the water that is trapped to evaporate.
Why Anti-Glare?
On my kit I ordered the Anti-Glare for the infotainment system. This was part of the effort to keep the finger prints down. The Anti-glare finish is far more resistive to finger prints and is able to look better for longer between cleanings.
