Best Mod So Far: Upgrading to the 14”

Out of all the mods I’ve done to my 3rd Gen Tundra, swapping the 8-inch screen for the 14-inch touchscreen has easily been the best upgrade so far.

The best part? It was super simple and plug-and-play. No crazy wiring, no complicated coding — just swapped the screens, plugged everything in, and it fired up perfectly.

The difference in size, clarity, and functionality is next level:

• Way easier to use maps, camera views, and apps
• Makes the interior feel so much more high-end
• Better visibility for off-roading and towing too
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work so much better — faster, smoother, and way easier to use while driving

One thing to note — I currently don’t have the physical radio knob installed, but honestly, I’m surprised how smooth everything still feels.

The steering wheel volume controls work perfectly and make adjusting sound super easy without needing to reach for the screen.

If you’re on the fence about upgrading your screen, do it — it completely transforms the driving experience without the stress of a complicated install.
