Toyota dropped a wide range of trims on the 3rd Gen Tundra: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
Each brings something different. The SR5 is a great entry with the most modding flexibility. The Limited adds comfort features and available i-FORCE MAX. The 1794 and Platinum are for folks who want luxury — ventilated seats, leather, messaging seats, pano-moon roof, and tech galore. All trims can be spruced up with pacakges too that are always changing it seems with each model year.
The TRD Pro brings off-road ready style, a lifted stance, Fox shocks, and unique badging. Meanwhile, the Capstone is the new flagship with all the bells and whistles (like power steps and premium trim details).
What trim did you go with and how’s it holding up? For me, I would do a Platinum Tundra again. I don't see the Capstone being worth it honestly, and the TRD Pro is overpriced for what it has to offer. Any standouts for you guys?
