So Toyota dropped TSB-0111-22 back in Dec 2022. It’s supposed to address the transmission hesitation and surge issues some of us have noticed when taking off from a stop. From what I gather, the fix involves an ECU/TCM software update at the dealer. I have some follow up questions to this.

How do we know if the truck has already gotten the update? Is there away to tell in infotainment? Or is a VIN check the only way?

Also....
Anyone here already get the TSB applied?
Did it actually improve drivability?
Any downsides after the update?

Seems like Toyota is aware of the hesitation complaints, but curious to hear real-world results from other owners before I book an appointment.
