I love having a clean truck and more importantly when I get into a nice clean interior it warms my heart. Its like a treat being able to drive it. But the seats in my Limited aren't real leather but SofTex which is a a synthetic, vinyl-based material designed to be more durable, water-resistant, and easier to maintain than real leather. Treating it like leather is one of the fastest ways to damage it.
From here I did some digging and talked to customer service at Obsessed Garage. I follow Matts content fairly regularly because he test products to the capacity I wish I could test stuff. Here is what they said.
First use the Griots Interior cleaner. This is safe to use pretty much everywhere in the car. You want to use this because its PH neutral and clean. For example you can't just use normal water because it will soak in or may be treated with chemicals that effect the vinyl. They key thing here is not trying to find something that cleans the best but something that does not damage.

Second I follow that up with a UV protectant. This is for my own sanity because my truck does live out side I would ultimately like to preserve the truck in its exact state that it is in now.
A big thing I always tell people is keeping something nice is treating it like it is nice. Be carful with it, soft with it. Treat it with respect. If you treat something carelessly it will look carelessly treated. But if you keep your stuff looking nice it helps. This includes not sliding on the seats, don't place sharp or heavy objects on the seats, and just be cautious with what you are doing. They are going to so wear with time just like a couch but you can do what you can to help.
