- 2023 TRD Off Road SR5 4X4
Installing the Rave Off-Road TRD Pro-style grille with the integrated amber LED light bar on my 3rd Gen Tundra TRD Off-Road — and I have to say, this has been one of the cleanest and most satisfying upgrades I’ve done to the truck so far.
The grille completely transforms the look of the front end. I loved the factory TRD Off-Road grille, but this Pro-style upgrade gives it a much more aggressive and rugged appearance that matches the rest of my build. The amber light bar adds an extra element of function and style, especially for early morning drives or evening trail runs.
Install was super straightforward.
The grille comes as a complete replacement, not an overlay, and everything lined up exactly as it should. I didn’t have to do any weird trimming, adjusting, or forcing — just pop the old one out, transfer a couple of OEM clips and hardware, and drop the new one in. Fitment is spot-on, and the quality of the plastic is solid and durable. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap like some other aftermarket grilles floating around online.
Wiring up the amber LED light bar was also easy. It comes pre-wired with a simple positive/negative lead, so I ran it to my existing switch panel in the cab. If you don’t have a switch panel, it would be easy to wire into the parking lights or a simple fuse tap setup. The light output is a nice amber tone — not too harsh, just right for visibility and style.
What really impressed me was how OEM+ the whole thing looks once installed. The design keeps that clean Toyota heritage look with the bold “TOYOTA” lettering but adds just the right amount of modern flair with the integrated light. It’s subtle but still turns heads — especially paired with my amber fogs and lift.
No rattles, no fitment issues, and no regrets.
If you’re on the fence about upgrading your grille, I 100% recommend this setup. Rave Off-Road knocked it out of the park with this one. Solid build, easy install, and a serious upgrade in looks and functionality.
I’ll try to get some better pics up soon, but for now I just wanted to share how happy I am with the end result.
Would love to see what grille setups others are running too. Let’s see those front-end transformations!
