Let’s talk fuel economy — we all know it’s not why we buy a Tundra, but still worth comparing.

Toyota rates the standard i-FORCE at around 17–20 MPG combined, depending on config. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid claims 20–22 MPG combined. But let’s be honest — we want the real-world numbers.

I’ve been seeing around 18 MPG city and close to 21 highway in my Platinum when it was stock and same with my older SR5. Not bad, considering it pulls like a diesel. When I added 35s to my SR5 I was around 15 MPG average and when I did 37s on my Platinum, I was around 16 MPG average, which I found weird.

Curious how tire size, bed config, and driving habits are affecting your MPG.

Post your setup and mileage — would be great to gather some data from the community.
