- 2022 Limited DCLB TRD Offroad

This picture is from July 2025 someone spotted and OEM Wide Body Tundra. Look at that rear track bar!
Better late than never! Sources have confirmed that we may have a Toyota competitor to the Ford Raptor and Ram RHO.
For the longest time I wanted a Raptor and I think that goes for a lot of people. High power output, built for offroad, luxury interior, and more but its always been either out of grasp or we just love our Toyotas more. Well now is it finally the time?
Recently there was a survey that went out asking if Toyota brought out a new high performance truck out what should they name it?

On top of that the survey also listed the following information.

This sounds like Toyota may be finally coming around to the world of full size high performance offroad world. Directly competing with the Ford Raptor and Ram RHO with OEM long travel suspension, 37s, wide fenders, high clearance bumpers, and a power upgrade?
My Wishlist:
If I was going to ask Toyota to build this truck what would I ask for?
1. Keep the v6 twin turbo but make as reliable as possible. The power output of the V6 is great and the balance of good fuel mileage is even better. But sacrifice some of the fuel mileage and just make the thing extremely reliable AT HIGH RPM so you can rip through the desert.
2. Blow the Raptor and TRX out of the water with Billet up and lower control arms for a OEM Long Travel Kit. You already do the uppers just blow them out of the water and show them what TRD is made of.
3. No fiberglass fenders but give us stamped steel. No matter what fiber glass takes more work and never has a smooth finish unless a lot of work goes into it. Retain the same OEM fender flare part number so after market options currently on the market will still work.
4. Keep the bumpers simple. OEM styling. Not too rugged.
5. Gear it down! If you are putting 37s on it give me some torque back. The factory ration is 3.31:1 Give me a 4.33:1 or 4.88:1
6. Please just same it GR Tundra. You already have the GR Corolla and other cars I think a GR Tundra would be sick.
7. Give us a GR / TRD Pro Shop simular to Mazada where we can buy OEM upgrade parts for our trucks and give us an upgrade path to build the truck on our own. https://store.mazdamotorsports.com/...urlRequestType=Base&langId=-1&catalogId=12501
