I have always been intrigued by the decked drawer system and yet, I just don't know if it's worth it. It has so many pros and many cons, that I don't know if one outweighs the other. I am a professional competitive shooter so when I travel, I use my truck to store gear, guns, ammo, you name it. At competitions, I also work out of my truck meaning I have storage containers where I throw all of my magazines into one, all of my ammo into ammo cans, and then all of my gear (slings, belts, long range tools, bipods, etc.) into another. I KNOW the Decked System would be a game changer for this BUT I also use my tailgate for a lot of practical use... I think I'm finished with concrete, but I've been building a range and hauling wood, concrete, tools, and machinery to and from Home Depot that I wonder how much the Decked system would be in the way. Would I have to take it out to haul wood? Are there tie down hooks on top to use my ratchet straps? I also use a tonneau cover and travel with a simple Yeti cooler everywhere I go... I wonder if I'd have to tie that down or just put it inside the cab...
If anyone has thoughts on the Decked System in the Tundra, I'd love to hear them!
