I’ve been thinking about a way to charge my e-bike and scooters in the bed while I’m driving, but as most of you know, the factory outlet on our Tundras drops from 400W down to 100W once the truck starts moving. That basically makes it useless for anything with real power needs.

I came across the “Interior Outlet Upgrade Kit” by Guild Outfitters (sold by Cali Raised LED) that claims it keeps the full 400W output even while driving on non-hybrid trucks. Supposedly it’s plug-and-play and just replaces the factory inverter connection.

Has anyone here actually installed this kit on a 2022+ Tundra?
  • Does it really hold 400W while driving?
  • Anyone tried it with a fridge, e-bike battery, or something with a bigger draw?
  • Was the install truly plug-and-play?
  • Any issues with the truck throwing warnings or the inverter shutting down under load?
If this thing really works, it would solve a big problem for anyone who camps, travels, or hauls gear that needs to stay charged

Just looking for some real-world feedback before I order it. Let me know if you’ve used it!
