I recently picked up this trailer and have been rebuilding and improving a lot of the systems on it. Here a link to the build thread https://3gtundra.com/threads/taxa-outdoor-tiger-moth-trailer-rebuild-thread.1098/
Now let me start with, this is a light trailer under 2k loaded. But when I first pulled it, I felt the weight behind the truck and when trying to stop. I configured the trailer on the truck dash and set up that it had brakes, but I never saw them engage.
After some messing around I finally found up you need to hit the + button on your dash to adjust your gain. This starts to use the brakes on the trailer. Never had a trailer with electric brakes before so it was new to me.
Now let me tell you. This changes my whole outlook on the thing! I was going to buy new brake pads. Maybe swap the axel and break system to Timbren. But that is all gone now. This thing stops perfectly. On downhill trips in the Sierras, I can add more gain or even hit the brakes on the trailer myself to slow me down.
Highly recommend using this feature but I would say the Autwobrake does have me curious.

The Autowbrake is a self-contained fully functional, electric brake control that mounts where it truly belongs - on the trailer. (12 Volt Power From Tow Vehicle or Trailer Battery as Long as Battery Has Charge Line or Solar) With the Autowbrake, you can get emergency braking or general braking...
