I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how useful the digital rearview camera is on the Tundra. Honestly, it wasn’t high on my must-have list when I was shopping for the truck, but it’s turned out to be one of those features I use way more than I thought I would.

It’s super helpful when I flip my bed cover all the way up — I can still see what’s going on in the bed without the cover completely blocking my view. And at night, it’s even better. The digital mirror cuts through the glare from headlights in a way that the normal mirror never could.

The only issue I’ve had was programming the garage door remote. It gave me a headache at first, and nothing I tried seemed to work. Then a few days later I tried again, and it programmed on the first attempt like nothing happened. No idea why, but I’ll take the win.

Being able to flip the tab and instantly switch between a traditional mirror and the digital cam is honestly really handy. After owning it for a bit, I can say the tech in this truck has been way more fun than I expected and definitely makes the overall experience better.

Anyone else feel the same way or have any quirks with theirs?
