IMG_2280.jpegThinking out loud here…
I’ve got a slightly built 3rd Gen Army Green Tundra that I love — but a Magnetic Gray Metallic TRD Pro caught my eye.
Now I’m stuck debating: Should I upgrade or stick with what I’ve built?

Why I’m considering the upgrade:
  • TRD Pro comes loaded with premium off-road features straight from the factory (Fox suspension, skid plates, locking rear diff, etc.)
  • Magnetic Gray Metallic looks insane in person — clean, aggressive, and unique.
  • Resale value on TRD Pros tends to hold strong.
  • Less money spent on future upgrades.
Why I’m hesitant:
  • I already have time, money, and mods invested into my current build.
  • My Army Green color is iconic and super sought after.
  • I’d be basically starting over with customizations (even though the Pro is pretty loaded).
  • Emotional attachment to a truck I’ve already made my own.
Financial Side:
  • TRD Pros aren’t cheap.
  • Trading in means eating potential costs like taxes, fees, and aftermarket value losses.
  • Could I take that money and make my current Tundra even more badass?
Performance Side:
  • TRD Pro = Built to hit trails straight from the lot.
  • But my current build already handles off-roading without a problem — and I can tailor it even more to my exact style.
The Real Question:
Am I chasing a better truck — or just the excitement of something new?
Sometimes the truck you built is better than a truck you bought already built.

Final Thought:
Both are beasts.
But right now… I’m leaning toward appreciating the build I already have and maybe adding a few more upgrades to make it even more “me.”
Still… that Magnetic Gray Metallic TRD Pro is tempting!
