Curious how many of you are disabling the auto start/stop on your 3rd Gen Tundras.
I get the idea behind it — better fuel economy and emissions — but honestly, it gets annoying in stop-and-go traffic. It kicks in a bit too aggressively sometimes, especially before I come to a full stop. Even with the hybrid, it can feel a little laggy off the line when it restarts.
I know there are a few plug-in modules that remember your last setting or keep it off permanently. Anyone here running those? Worth it?
Also wondering if Toyota will eventually let us disable it in the settings without a workaround. Until then, would love to hear what others are doing — dealing with it, disabling it, or actually liking it?
