For those running 4WD on their 3rd Gen Tundra, how are the modes treating you? Toyota stuck with the part-time 4WD system and added features like Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and an electronic locking rear diff on the TRD Off-Road trims (and Pro).
Personally, I’ve used Crawl Control a few times on rocky trails while at the Toyota drive events — works great, and it's super silent compared to Toyota last gen system. The terrain management is useful, especially when switching from mud to sand, but I mostly leave it in 4HI unless I’m in something serious. Toyota has a super solid system that doesn't really need any fiddling.
Have you put yours through snow, sand, or anything technical yet? I’m curious to hear how it stacks up vs. older gen Tundras or competitors like the RAM, F-150, and Silverado.
