Lift kits vs. Collar or spacer lift First list address what a lift kit is. Here we are not talking about a leveling kit of a simple spacer / collar lift. A spacer or collar lift add a piece of metal on top of your shock pushing your suspension down. At the end the truck is "lifted" and does give you the look but IN MY OPINION is not optimal because the suspension geometry is not correct. With that being said I 100% believe spend the extra money on new springs and having a ready to go bolt in kit pre assembled is worth the money. One you dont need to mess with swapping over the front coil over spring to the new strut. Two get you all new equipment all the way around. So here we are going to keep it to kits that directly bolt into the truck. Bilstein 6112 Strut & Spring Assembled + Rear B8 5100 Shocks Set This is tried and true one of the go to kits for both on and offroad. If you order from Mudify they are pre assembled and directly bolt into the truck. They offer up to a 3in lift are rebuildable and slightly extended travel. The upgraded 2.5in strut in the front will offer a smoother ride as well better offroad performance with more fluid to move. Coming in around $1200 and you can bolt them in inside of the garage. At this price point this will only level the front of your truck and not lift the rear as rear springs are not included in this kit. But if you are looking get into a budget upgrade this is the way to do it. This budget friendly kit comes in around $1400 fully assembled. Unlike the Bilstein kit before this does come with rear progressive springs that will lift the rear end of the truck. There are some difference here as instead of the larger 2.5 shock body you get with Bilstein you will still be getting a 2.0 shock body in the front but adding the rear springs in to offset the cost point. But Fox is a big name in the industry and the fact you can get kit like this at this price point is awesome. These also have threaded preload adjustment unlock the clip adjustment the other kits use. Definitely a kit to consider if you wanted to spend a little extra cash. I am a sucker for all OEM parts and I am looking at swapping over to the TRD Pro Grill. There are a lot of companies that put together a lot of all in one kits together foryou to complete these task but here is the OEM part numbers.

What you need to know

A lot of kits online point out you need camera brackets and what not. More than likely you need to come up with a solution yourself or order the proper brackets
A non TRD PRO truck does not have the wiring for the running lights or front light bar. You will need an after market controller
To swap the grill the disassembly process is a little more involved than you may think.
