Will we see any recalls on Tundras with the i-FORCE MAX engines?

Currently the recall is only for all 2022 and some very early model 2023 Tundras with the non-hybrid setup. It has been said this is because the hybrid system of these trucks is able to bring the truck to a safe stop in the event of an engine failure, making it "not" a safety risk.

That being said, it seems like Toyota still knows that the engines regardless of the powertrain option are still faulty.

So I am curious if they will be added to the recall, or if Toyota will just continue to fix these engines even outside of warranty.

The orange parts is what is different on the hybrid vs non. So the engine is the exact same. (Tacoma featured here but same concept)

If you were trying to save some money would you still buy a 22-23 without worry because Toyota will replace any problematic motors or would you just aim for the 24+ (pay a little more) and not have to worry about engine failures?

2024's are failing too from what I've seen. Not as many though. So I would save as much coin as possible and also get a free engine.
